Hartebeests are said to weigh over 400+ lbs, so I’d imagine getting sacked by one of them trumps what an NFL quarterback experiences when they get sacked. Perfect form on the tackle, by the way.
Adventure Journal reports that van der Spuy’s helmet shattered and he suffered a stiff neck. Thankfully his injuries were minor and he’ll be ok. But moral of the story? Always watch your blind side.
